Experience Online Classes

Developing a good online class requires having experience in these types of classes. It is highly recommended that you have taken at least one online class prior to beginning the course design process. 

On Campus Support

Technology Mediated Instruction provides training and support for faculty use of Canvas and Supplemental Tools. TMI also provides:

  • Instructional design (planning & development of courses)
  • Assistance in implementing Principles of Quality Online Teaching
  • Accessibility assessment of course content
  • Bulk document scanning & PDF remediation
  • Evaluation of external content (i.e. OER, LTI, publisher, etc.)
  • Importing of traditional format quizzes/tests into Canvas
  • You can also request a meeting for individualized support.
